Your tool donation enables the ToolBank to serve hundreds of not-for-profits agencies every year.

The Heart of Our Organization

Your donation of tools is critical to the success of our tool lending program.  We gladly accept donations of new and gently used tools, tool accessories, repair/maintenance supplies.


Items we CAN accept include:

  • Power tools — woodworking, landscape, specialty, farm & garden
  • Demolition — any manual or power tools used for demo projects including jackhammers & concrete saws
  • Construction — hand and power tools used for construction
  • Lumber — slab or dimensional lumber in unused condition
  • Heavy equipment, trucks, trailers
  • LVP Flooring (Luxury Vinyl Plank)
  • Tiles — any and all kinds are welcome
  • Trim — any and all kinds, scraps are welcome, must be at least 1” long
  • Lighting fixtures — must have all necessary hardware
  • Small vanity + sink top — new or used
  • Garbage disposal — new
  • Kitchen sink basin — new or used
  • Faucets/drains — for sinks or tubs/shower, new or used
  • Wire — must be unused 14-gauge wire


Items we CANNOT receive at this time include:

  • Hardware
  • Tools in need of repair
  • Decorative tools

How It Works

Donations of tools are incorporated into our lending inventory or used in our ToolBOX Workshop program whenever possible. Donations of tools that cannot serve either of those purposes are either sold to the public to increase our community’s tool access or given to other organizations that can use them. For example, donated paint tray liners are offered to member agencies when they borrow paint trays. Donations of materials that cannot be used in our workshops or by our member agencies are either sold to the public or given to other organizations that can use them.


Though we add new tools to our inventory every year, our current Tool Inventory Catalog, a listing of all tools approved for lending, is available to view.
