At Richmond ToolBank, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe in their home. Our ToolBOX program offers pay-what-you-can home maintenance and tool training workshops right here in Richmond, removing financial barriers so more people can gain the skills, confidence, and access they need to care for their homes. We start by sharing knowledge, then provide hands-on guidance so participants can safely put their new skills into practice. Whether it's learning to use a drill, a miter saw, or tackling a long-overdue repair, every workshop empowers someone to create a home that's safer, stronger, and more efficient. "In just a short two hour span, I can see folks coming in being scared of a miter saw to leaving feeling confident being able to use one safely in their own home and dreaming about all these projects that they'd love to take on moving forward," says Morgan Day, our ToolBOX Coordinator. Confidence doesn't just transform homes—it transforms lives. When you give to Richmond ToolBank, you're helping remove financial barriers, expand access to practical skills, and ensure more of our neighbors have the tools and knowledge to build safer homes. π Donate today and help us continue creating stronger homes and stronger communities, one workshop at a time.
