Your generous gift unlocks extraordinary potential. Combined with our 6% borrowing fee, every dollar you donate enables us to provide $16 worth of tools and equipment through our Tool Lending Program to our member agencies and residents of Central Virginia.
Since opening in 2015, the Richmond ToolBank has equipped more than 600 community-based organizations and countless residents with access to over 10,000 tools and $10 million in equipment cost savings, supporting more than 115,000 volunteers on 20,000 projects across Central Virginia. From neighborhood revitalizations to youth programs and environmental cleanups, these projects would often be impossible without access to affordable tools and expertise.
We are working to raise $20,000 by December 31st, 2026. Your gift before year's end will directly support our Tools for Change member agencies and help equip the nonprofits, volunteers, and residents who are building a better Central Virginia. Through tool lending, our Building Change volunteer program, and our ToolBOX workshops, every dollar you give goes further than you think.

Community Support
Your monetary gift is critical. It helps us maintain our 10,000 square foot warehouse that houses our massive inventory of 10,000 + tools. Our warehouse serves as the center of our operations. It allows us to grow and sustain our programming, reducing the cost of service and maintenance projects and enabling local agencies to focus more of their resources on their mission.
Your financial support empowers the ToolBank, the hundreds of agencies, and the tens of thousands of volunteers we serve to impact lives and transform communities. The ToolBank is privately funded which means that our programs rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and foundations to remain operational.
